Description

AutoLoc's heavy duty automotive 40-amp relays are the best choice for any type of 12-volt wiring project. They can handle high current applications with ease and are suitable for normal automobile use. The single pole, double throw relay will never get stuck or short out on you.

Package includes 1 40A 5-Pin 12V Vehicle Relay. Includes a water resistant sealed case. Features mounting tab for 1/4” fastener.

Our relays are tested and certified for a long life of smooth operation at any temperature and can handle 50,000+ cycles.

The AUTRA1000 is a SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw) automotive relay. An SPDT relay is an electromagnetic switch consisting of:
Coil Terminals :: 85 and 86
Common Terminal :: 30
Normally Closed Terminal :: 87a
Normally Open Terminal :: 87

When the coil of an SPDT relay is at rest (not energized), the common terminal (30) and the normally closed terminal (87a) have continuity. When the coil is energized, the common terminal (30) and the normally open terminal (87) have continuity.
