The Helix Basic Solid Axle Hair Pin Kit upgrades right-hand-drive 1928-1931 Ford Model A chassis with a traditional 4-inch dropped drilled beam axle paired with a classic hairpin radius rod suspension system.

Designed specifically for RHD Model A builds, this kit provides international builders and fabricators with a properly configured early Ford solid axle front suspension foundation while maintaining the iconic styling associated with traditional hot rods.

The hairpin suspension design provides the authentic vintage appearance favored by traditional builders while offering a proven method of locating and controlling the front axle. The drilled 4-inch dropped beam axle delivers the classic early Ford look with visible lightening holes that have become a signature feature of traditional hot rod suspension.
